I am trying to create a section of my webspace to require a password.
How do I do this?

 Send mail to webmaster with the following information:
 Directory name :  /cs/www/...
       id                :  username
       password    :  password
 
 We will then create a .htaccess file in that directory which will
 restrict web access to that directory to that id and password.
