I'm graduating next year. Do I have time to finish a minor in Computer Science?
Prerequisite and courseload issues make it nearly impossible to complete the entire Computer Science major in one year.
The minor consists of a minimum of 18 units, with at least 6 of those units being 300-level or higher. You will need an average of 5 courses to meet these criteria. Because of prerequisites, most students are only able to take one CS course per semester during their first year pursuing this program. This leaves three additional courses to complete in the following year. In general, the Computer Science minor advisor recommends that you allow yourself two full academic years to complete the CS minor.
