The wireless network UAWireless is offered by CCIT at various locations on campus and was made available in CS on 12/23/05. Following are some points to note about UAWireless:

• MAC address registration is required through CCIT, but there is no WEP key.
  
• Students register MAC addresses via Student Link.
  
• Faculty and Staff register MAC addresses via http://dhcp.arizona.edu.

• Once a MAC address is registered, it is good anywhere on campus where UAWireless is available. Note: this means other departments can use this service through our access points.

• Access within CS is identical to other locations except that we allow ssh. CCIT may offer this in other locations in the future.
  
  
• The following services are supported:
  • general web access (http, https)
  • smtp (25)
  • imaps (993)
  • webauth access (port 8443 - e.g., Student Link)
  • CCIT's VPN
  • ssh (within CS only)
  
  
  
• Note that CS printers are not available via UAWireless connections
