How do I apply to the Computer Science major?

Applications for the CS major are accepted at three times throughout the year: at the beginning of the fall semester, the beginning of the spring semester, and the end of the spring semester.  The spring application, however, is open only to students who have met the automatic admission criteria of As and Bs in all math and computer science courses and a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

The link to the online application is sent through the pre-Computer Science listserv.  (Contact the pre-CS advisor to be added to the listserv if you haven't already been.)  Students who do not meet the guaranteed admission criteria for the major must submit an essay as part of the application.
