Can I register for a majors-only course as a pre-major?

I'm a pre-CS student and am out of CS courses to take.  Can I get special permission to take a majors-only class next semester?

Pre-CS students cannot get permission to register for majors-only courses.  If you have taken all of the courses that are available to you, this means that it is time for you to apply to the major.  In certain circumstances, the Admissions Committee will rush an application in order to help you gain access to courses that you need for the major.

If you are out of courses but are not admissable to the major, you may need to consider switching to a different major in which you could be more successful.  You should work closely with your academic advisor to discuss all possible options and to determine whether there is a reasonable plan for getting you back on track for major admission.
