Is there a limit to the number of CS classes I can take per semester?
The recommendation of the faculty is that you take only two Computer Science courses per semester. This recommendation is not based on a student's intelligence. Rather, it is based on the extensive amount of time that it takes to complete the homework and projects in upper-level Computer Science courses. Although students do occassionally take three CS courses at a time, they often report that the experience is unpleasant and that their grades suffer as a result of being overwhelmed.
Work with your advisor early in your academic career to develop a plan that will allow you to take two CS courses per semester.
