Should I talk to a UA advisor before I transfer?

I’m hoping to transfer to the UA next year.  When should I get in touch with a UA advisor?

You are highly encouraged to contact a UA advisor as soon as you decide that you’re interested in studying Computer Science.  The advisor will explain the major curriculum, and help you develop a course plan for your semesters at Pima.  Many students are interested in staying at Pima as long as possible in order to take advantage of the great tuition cost and quality courses.  The UA advisor will work with you to make an efficient plan that will allow you to complete as many requirements as possible at Pima, without needing to take extra classes once you get to the UA.

The current advisor for the pre-Computer Science program is Rebecca Mitchell.  You can make an appointment to meet with Rebecca by calling (520) 621-4632.
