Printing Quota is wrong

I am getting email warnings about being over my printing quota but I have not printed that much this month. The logs must be wrong.

The accounting system for printing pages is somewhat crude, and that is taken into account in the generous monthly allocations, in that it scans the submitted jobs for the number of "page breaks" and counts this as pages submitted. This scheme can result in what users consider to be false counts because it
1. counts 'submitted' pages (regardless of whether they printed or not)
2. does not take into account double-sided or n-up printing.

The lab staff can make exceptions to the printing quota enforcement on a per-user basis if circumstances warrant it.
