Will I be pre-CS when I transfer?

Even if I take my introductory CS courses at Pima, will I still be considered a pre-Computer Science major once I get to the UA?

All students, including freshmen and tranfers, are admitted to the UA as pre-Computer Science and are required to apply for major admission after completing a set of coursework at the UA.  Admission is based on earning grades of A or B in all of your math and CS (both at the UA and at other schools), and a 3.0 cumulative GPA at the UA.  The exact courses that you take at t UA in order to determine your admissability to the major will depend upon which courses you have transferred to the UA.  You will work with your UA advisor to develop a course plan and a timeline for applying to the major.

See http://www.cs.arizona.edu/undergrad/admission.html for more details about special admission criteria for students with transfer credit.
